Late-night Craft Project!
Double Layer Stud Ring
I made a ring! Haha. I got the excess studs from my now-butchered studded belt that I made into a bracelet, then I just attached them.  This is the third(?) accessory I’ve made (so far.) I think I’m getting a knack out of making accessories. Haha. :P

Flash heavy, Studs, Glam. 8-Stud Two Finger-ring — I made it.

Impulse-bought this ring at Topman 2 days ago. PhP 199 ($4)!
I felt so giddy after I bought it! :P I really like the fact that it’s square, like they took a chunk of metal and put a hole in it. I love how it’s not like most rings (being square) while keeping straight, streamlined lines, which I’m a sucker for. It fits my aesthetic perfectly!

Late-night Craft Project!
Single Row 7-stud Bracelet
Ok, maybe it’s not so late-night anymore, but whatever. I made this bracelet last night! I got the studs from the left overs of the cuff-that-was-once-a-belt, which have also spawned my other creations, here and here (if you haven’t seen them.)
I’ve had this metal bracelet for a long time, and I wasn’t using it because there was this big fat Nike logo on the band for some reason. So what I did was I wrapped the portions I wanted the studs in with some electrical tape, then proceeded to mount the studs. Simple, really.
I’m really getting fond of making these studded accessories. So much fun. And if you’re wondering why I’ve only used studs so far, the answer is they’re the only things I can find around the house that are easy to attach and look good :P

Another shot of the bracelet I made. That thing I used as a stand is this ring.

3 Stud Ring: Supra; Greek Ring: Vintage, Greece; Spike Ring: 50th Avenue; Simple Band Ring: Vintage, from my Dad; Cuff: Greenhills

I love gold accessories. The ones I’m wearing are mostly gifts, except for the one from Supra. I really cherish the simple band — it’s from my late father. The chambray shirt I’m wearing is also from him. Miss you, dad.

Ring Recycle: Twin-stud ring

First off, sorry for the crappy webcam picture. haha.

For what seemed like an eternity, I had another one of those spur-of-the-moment-creation-moments. I was just about to go to bed and I saw an old ring that my mom gave me for Christmas, and it had a bunch of hole/slot thingoes around it. I figured I could put studs in it, so I did. I was going to put three but when I put the second one in and tried it on, I liked it. Done in literally 3 minutes.

Pamela Love Fall 2011 Lookbook

wetheurban:

Website: http://www.pamelalovenyc.com

Is this real life?! There are no words to describe the brilliance of Pamela Love’s latest concoction. Her latest outpouring of unreal jewelry is another smash hit in the Brooklyn designer’s repertoire. The southwestern tribal motifs she’s served up in the last few collections, as well as in her collaboration with Topshop, give way to witchy vibes and downright magical color schemes.

The bangles with all sorts of crystals exploding out of them are amazing! Check out the rest of the lookbook after the jump:
